Hiatus for Podcast Reviews in 2021

The last podcast review of 2020-2021 will be Leviathan Chronicles Season 3. After that and a collection similar to the one I did in 2018, there will be no new podcast reviews for the foreseeable future. The collection will appear on Audio Drama News and Interviews as one big episode.

Changes to the Rating System

Because having a 5 in the denominator doesn’t leave room for much praise or criticism, I’m upping the star rating to 10 stars. Though I’m gonna use “magic” to make the 10 a 100 so if you see an 8.5/10, know it’s an 85/100. Use whatever variation you want on your website or don’t. As always, I’ll try to keep the content of the reviews the main focus as the numbers have been relatively arbitrary. If someone receives lower than a 5/10 or 50/100, I’ll message them privately and explain the situation to them and how they want to proceed. I don’t want to be the guy bashing on people’s passion projects, but the more I listen the more the “faults” of a particular audio drama become obvious. The goal, as always, is to provide people with the “facts” so they can make their own decisions when listening for themselves. The best part about most audio drama is the price of admission is free.

Guests and Other Projects

I’m actively looking for new creators to interview or podcasts to appear on as a guest. I’m also an independent fiction author so I can talk about writing as well, not just audio dramas.
