An Update to the Recommendations Form

I’ve decided to branch out the recommendation form to include the following positions:

• Sound designers/mixers
• Composers

The previous rule of any writer or creator of a show can’t recommend it themselves still applies. A fan is still eligible, but after thinking about it a bit more, I decided why not give the unsung heroes of audio drama a turn as well as those going the extra mile to compose original music.

Podcast News

For the past few months, I’ve gotten recommendations from fans of certain audio dramas and today is the first of these shows. The podcast you know and hopefully loved before the robots took over will return. I’ll be reading the reviews for the Audio Drama Reviews podcast. Some may be abridged, while others might be unabridged. It depends on if I can certain words on the days I record.

Since the website already has a text-to-speech function for newer reviews and those upcoming, it didn’t make much sense to have the podcast do the same thing. Expect the previous two months of reviews to drop sometime in March as 1-2 episodes. Reviews outside of the Black identity and history celebration like Harley Quinn and Quiet Part Loud will hopefully be a nice drop in your day sometime before that collection drops.

No reviews the next couple of Sundays. We’ll resume a relatively consistent schedule depending on how many new recommendations I get. I’m hoping to have something special release between now and then. Reviews will return March 19.
