L’Oréal Slogan, Because Audible Ad
After years of not buying an audible.com membership, this month I decided to go in on a promo deal. Since that time, I’ve primarily used the whispersync for voice feature to buy the audiobook at a reduced price. Seldom can I listen or read and retain information with audio by itself.
I used the credit on Phillip K. Dick’s “Minority Report” and other short stories. It was for a class and I returned it and used the credit on a non-fiction book about superhero comics. I’m writing an essay for both another class and the blog about the shared relationship between comic books and audio dramas. The audiobook is the companion piece to the PBS documentary on comic books that aired in 2013.
Changes to Membership Benefits? OK, Boomer.
One of the features not there when I dropped my membership were audible originals. They weren’t even a thing, let alone did you get 2 free ones every month with your membership. As with most free things, they aren’t giving away stories anyone wants. One of the stories sounds interesting as a form of research on diversity and representation. While the audio drama world has opened up my eyes to the LGBTQ+ community, other ways of identification are something I can be somewhat uninformed on.
Moving on from my personal life, it’s time for an ad.

End Game
I received this post before I got approved by audible. It’s been a while since I’ve read the article. They may tell you it’s not, but don’t let that stop you from signing up for a free trial at audibletrial.com/audiodramareviews.
